Many people treasure the indulgence of buying one of their own Puerto Vallarta luxury homes. Individuals native to the popular resort city actually have shortened the name to Vallarta and even address it simply as P.V., short for Puerto Vallarta. The city itself is about 509 square miles, or in a metric measurement, about 1,300 KM. It is well-known as a vacation town, and it has been called “The Friendliest City in the World.” In fact, since so many people vacation there and have secondary homes there, tourism makes up 50 percent of its entire economic trends. Most tourists frequent the city from November to March.

Many people have purchased luxury homes as a secondary housing option. It is a notable place to get away and relax. If someone were to stroll down the street, they might be surprised at the others who live in the town or visit it regularly. It is not uncommon for popular celebrities to visit and frequent the town, as well.

Individuals who live there often boast about the food that is served. One popular option is grilled marlin, which can be found on any of the local beaches and even at some taco stands. The individuals who cook this delicate dish skewer meat over hot coals and serve it with hot sauce and some lime sauce as well. If one loves fish, they are bound to love this dish. Puerto Vallarta boasts many local fish options, like raw fish, scallops, and the ever-popular shrimp, often served with onions or chili and called ceviche.

Puerto Vallarta has, on occasion, been highlighted on TV. If someone does decide to move to Puerto Vallarta or visit there, they should check out Mismaloya, where parts of “The Night of The Iguana” were filmed. Other shows that had been filmed locally was the ever-popular “Predator,” which aired in 1987. The Mismaloya jungle scenes can be seen in this movie.

If someone is looking at buying a secondary house, they might consider purchasing Puerto Vallarta real estate. People who choose to move out to the town or visit will find that there are plenty of tourist attractions in the town. One example of a popular tourist attraction is the John Houston exclusive statue, which is located on the Isla Cuale. Those who are likely to visit theaters will find one built in 1922, which is still used to produce shows and plays today.
